A Walk Through Pain
Thoughts, explanations, and more from a pain doctor and patient.

About Me
Thoughts and Experiences.
Thank you for visiting this site. A Walk Through Pain is where I share common answers (or lack thereof) to questions that I hear repeatedly in my pain management practice. I have a unique perspective as a pain management physician as I happen to suffer from a disease called complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), formerly known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). It has been nicknamed the suicide disease because it can be so painful. The ultimate purpose of this blog is simply to put down thoughts and experiences, and share some things that I have learned about pain as both a doctor and patient.
I graduated from the Emory University School of Medicine in 2013, finished my anesthesia residency at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2017, and completed my pain medicine fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2018. I currently practice in southeast Pennsylvania.
